KORI - Lansdale
About This Spot
Stepping into KORI feels a little like uncovering a thoughtful secret in the heart of Lansdale. From the outside, the building carries the charm and quirks of an old American diner, a hint of its past quietly eeking through the doorframe. But inside, warmth and care take the lead—tables softly dressed, subtle Korean accents blending gently with the spaces that still whisper of the building’s history. It’s a space where familiar and new meet without hurry, inviting guests to settle in and savor the moment.
The pace here is unpretentious and relaxed, marked by conversations that feel genuine and servers who carry the kind of welcoming energy that makes you feel remembered by name. The rhythms of shared meals and small, attentive gestures create a quietly joyful atmosphere—not flashy, but full of layers worth discovering.
Dining at KORI unfolds like an exploration of Korean barbecue and traditional flavors, delivered with a sense of homely care. The mix of sizzling meats, fresh vegetables, and thoughtfully prepared side dishes invites you to build your own tapestry of taste—from the bright, crisp notes of lightly salted edamame to the comforting embrace of hot stone rice bowls bubbling with colorful, seasoned ingredients. Each plate carries a balance of textures and flavors that never feels rushed but instead gently savored.
The restaurant’s charm goes beyond the food, rooted in a genuine connection between those who serve and those who come to eat. This is a place where hospitality feels lovingly personal—an atmosphere where laughter and stories feel as natural as the Korean classics being shared. KORI quietly holds space for comfort and discovery alike, making it a quietly treasured spot for locals and visitors seeking an authentic experience that lingers long after the meal.

Food was tasty and a good value. Staff were very nice. Looks can be deceiving when looking at the restaurant from the outside. It looks like the building used to be an old American dinner that’s a little beat up but once you enter you will be greeted by a clean restaurant with clothed tables and chairs. However you can still see some of the old diner inside so it conflicts with the Korean accents. Obviously not a deal breaker but I hope they invest for a modern remodel.

This is one of those hidden gems in Lansdale that if you're not looking for it you won't find. But let me say I'm glad I did find it. The food was delicious and tasted authentic. Kimmy was the absolute best I loved her energy. If you like authentic Korean cuisine this is the place for you

My family went on a Sunday night. The restaurant is clean and the service is incredibly friendly. We ordered beef soup and seafood hot pot. Udon noodles are provided for the hot pot. Side dishes are abundant and nutritious. Their Korean spinach pudding was a highlight.

Our first time here, and we loved it! The restaurant is very nice and the owner is sweet and funny. She is very personable and welcoming. The food was delicious! We had the spicy chicken appetizer, and it was so good. We also got the shrimp and beef rib bento box. I preferred the chicken over the beef, but both had good flavor. I definitely recommend this place. We live an hour away, but we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a great dining experience.

What a wonderful find. There is no place with good Korean food like this in our area of Bucks county. Everything delicious. The tteobokki sauce and special cucumber panchan were the best. Kimi makes homemade and she feels like family welcoming you.

Absolutely love it! We actually went to another Korean restaurant first—it was completely full, so we googled and found KORI. It seems that KORI used to be a diner, so it is quite spacious, a lot bigger than many other Korean restaurants. It’s very well decorated with nice traditional Korean background music. I had tofu soup with beef—my favorite Korean soup. It tastes very authentic. My husband had their pork katsu and enjoyed it too. Prices are really reasonable—as a value seeker, I find our dinner of good value. Service is attentive and friendly. Overall, we are very happy that we discovered KORI and plan to come back soon.

Got a short rib bento box and tofu stew with seafood. Flavors were very good and portion of short rib was very large for a bento. Waitress was attentive and readily refilled side dishes. Owner (Kimmy) stopped by the table and was extremely friendly. I will definitely be back when I am in the area.

My new favorite Korean restaurant. Absolutely phenomenal food, a vast menu with more traditional Korean dishes outside of KBBQ. Some of the best Tteokbokki i’ve had. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. A place that you can spend hours with your friends.
